DONATE TO The Homestead

People Power

The Homestead succeeds through the power of humans - volunteers. Many hands make light work. The Homestead has a lot of diverse needs that can be met by volunteers with diverse skills. No task is insignificant and no person is unwanted when it comes to volunteering. Physically volunteering time is one of the best gifts The Homestead can receive.

In-Kind Donations

Special skills and material donations are always accepted. Farm equipment, canning materials, fencing and other landscaping materials could be of high use to our nonprofit organization.

Specifically, The Homestead could use interested and able contractors, carpenters, electricians, and farmers, willing to donate their time and skills to the operation. Parts of the iconic barn and the "Veg Shop" could use some TLC. An additional greenhouse would be beneficial. Irrigation on the farm could be optimized and is in need of a professional eye.

Any help from specialized workers, materials, or equipment would be a generous donation.

Monetary Donations

Monetary donations are always welcome and have allowed The Homestead to have a larger impact on the community. Monetary donations allow The Homestead to offer programming for youth, to create greater access of vegetables to the community, and to build needed infrastructure to allow the organization to be self-sustaining.
